Federica Urzo is a journalist, analyst, and business developer specializing in artificial intelligence, strategic communication, and disinformation studies. She coordinates the Luiss Data Lab, an interdisciplinary research center at Luiss Guido Carli focused on the impact of technology and data and disinformation on society.

She is part of the Google.org Tech for Social Good Project and the Italian Digital Media Observatory (IDMO) - both under the coordination and the direction of Luiss Data Lab - and the Luiss School of Journalism, which leads pioneering and innovative experiments in journalism. Through these initiatives, she collaborates and engages with a broad network of leading stakeholders in research, journalism, and technology, fostering ethical innovation and advancing quality information in the digital age.
