Alessandra Spada with 30 years of experience in Large Companies and SMEs as leader of industrial and R&D projects, Alessandra is co-founder with Gianni Riotta of Catchy srl, an innovative start-up of services and products in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Behaviours, Data/Geo Intelligence & Brand/Data Storytelling. He is currently also in charge of the areas of Research, Innovation and Impact for large companies, SMEs and innovative start-ups such as Alkemy, Jakala, Codermine, Subcom and Joule 4.0.
With Joule 4.0, an innovative start-up where he is Service Designer & Tech advisor, he develops and promotes services and products for the European Green Deal with a focus on the domains of Home of Things, Smart Metering and Smart Cities. Significant is the ongoing collaboration with the Data Lab and the Luiss Master of Journalism and Multimedia Communication in which he deals with the issues of combating disinformation in the European projects SOMA and EDMO. He has worked for Banco di Sardegna, Finsiel, Telecom Italia, Almaviva and the Leonardo group, where he managed the R&D and Grant Awards areas.
In recent years, his experience has focused on European projects in the areas of Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Healthcare, Transport and Logistics, Culture and Tourism, and Environment. At national level, his experience in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Conversational AI, Mobile/Phygital Experience, Blockchain and Digital Currencies, Wearable and Internet of Thing, Cloud, Open Source is significant. He founded the Permanent Observatory on Decentralised Artificial Intelligence to support the Decentralised AI Community. He was part of the Orangee project through its transformation from an SME to a Leonardo Group company.
