Andrea Nicolai is CEO and founder of T6, a consulting and research company. The
combination of a humanistic education and a keen interest in information and
communication technologies has led him to a variety of work experiences in the field of
media, strategy consulting and local development strategies, with a focus on the impact of
new technologies in their respective areas of application. He has been project manager for
numerous international research and development projects. Since the European
Commission's Fifth Framework Program, he has worked with the European Parliament on
software patent issues and new directives on intellectual property rights. For years, he has
been a reviewer and evaluator of project proposals and results of European Commission
research projects.
