LATIF: the new grant of Luiss Data Lab

Luiss has secured funding from the European Media & Information Fund (EMIF) for the research project LATIF ("Leveraging Argument Technology for Impartial Fact-Checking"). This project aims to develop a new generation of digital tools based on the Analysis of Competing Hypotheses (ACH) to enhance and improve decision-making processes for organizations involved in fact-checking.

Visit the dedicated project website at latifproject.eu.

Through the Luiss Data Lab, a research center specializing in data analysis and combating disinformation, the university will coordinate an international team of experts in digital narratives and misinformation. This collaboration includes the University of Dundee, the University of Liverpool, and T6 Ecosystems S.r.l.

EMIF supports collaborative efforts to reduce disinformation, enhance independent fact-checking, and deploy targeted research and innovation tools designed to strengthen ecosystems' resilience and response to misinformation.
