Elena Musi is a senior lecturer in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool. Before starting her university career, Elena worked as a linguistic engineer for Alexa in Italian in the Amazon Alexa Applied Modelling and Data Science team (Cambridge, Massachusetts).

Elena's current research interweaves Artificial Intelligence and Communication Sciences with the broad aim of reviewing debates on new technologies and their global impact from a critical perspective, with a focus on (mis)information and human-computer interaction. Elena is a member of the steering committee of ECA (European Conference Argumentation).
